Tigers Host Eagles Saturday Night At Littlejohn

- Trevor Booker jogged at practice on Thursday and was to try to make it through more of a workout on Friday. Coach Oliver Purnell said depending on how Friday's practice went, Booker might be available Saturday against Boston College. Booker sprained his ankle after playing just six minutes last week at Miami. In two career games over 45 minutes against Boston College, Booker has shot 10-15 from the field and has 20 points and 15 rebounds.

? Cliff Hammonds needs just one steal to become the sixth player in ACC history with at least 1200 points, 400 rebounds, 400 assists and 200 steals.

? Clemson will be without the services of starting point guard Demontez Stitt for the first time this year when the Tigers take on Boston College. Clemson's fastest player suffered a knee injury in practice on January 30 and had surgery on the 31st. Stitt has averaged 8.9 points and 3.1 assists per game. Sam Perry will take Stitt's place in the Clemson starting lineup and Cliff Hammonds will move to the point guard.

? Clemson senior Sam Perry had 10 points and five rebounds in just 13 minutes in the win over Wake Forest. It was his first double figure scoring game since December of 2006 when he scored 10 in a win over Georgia. He followed that up with another solid performance against Miami, scoring five points and pulling in three rebounds in just 13 minutes.

? Clemson has a 4-3 lead in the series with Boston College. The Eagles have never won at Clemson and Clemson has never won at Boston College. The home team has won five in a row in the series. Clemson won the two neutral site games between the two schools.

? Clemson has played four ACC home games so far this year and three of them have gone to overtime. Clemson is 2-1 in those three overtime home games.

? Raymond Sykes made 4-8 shots from the field vs. Miami (FL) and is now 25 of his last 34 from the field, a .735 percentage. Sykes's playing time could increase in the coming games with the injury to Trevor Booker.

? Clemson and Kansas are the only two teams in the nation ranked in the top 20 in steals and blocked shots. Clemson leads the ACC in steals per game.

? Trevor Booker was 34-55 from the field (.636) and averaged 15.8 points per game in ACC play prior to his injury against Miami on Jan. 27.

? Saturday's game with Boston College is Clemson' only home game between Jan.22 and Feb. 13, a 23-day period. After Saturday, Clemson will play six of its next eight games on the road, including trips to Virginia and North Carolina next week.

? The two head coaches in Saturday's game are both in their 20th seasons as head coaches. Clemson's Oliver Purnell has won 341 games and is coaching his 596th career game, while Boston College coach Al Skinner has 346 wins and is coaching his 600th game.

? Clemson is shooting just 63 percent from the foul line this year, but shot 75 percent (15-20) at Miami (FL)
