CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - Will Solomon, Clemson & Juan Dixon, Maryland

Clemson guard Will Solomon, who averaged 31.0 points in two games, and Maryland's Juan Dixon, who averaged 26.0 points in a pair of contests against ranked teams, have been tabbed as ACC Co-Players of the Week. Solomon tallied 29 in a loss at Wake Forest and 33 in a victory over Florida State, shooting an impressive 22-of-38 (.578) from the field overall and 10-of-20 (.500) from three point range. Dixon averaged 26.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.0 steals and shot .537 from the field in two games last week. The Baltimore, Md., sophomore matched his career-high of 31 points in Wednesday's 98-87 win over No. 3 Duke and later added a team-high 21 points against No. 19 Temple.


ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Joseph Forte, North Carolina

North Carolina's Joseph Forte averaged 20.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in the Tar Heels' victories over NC State and Wake Forest. The Greenbelt, Md., freshman opened the week with a 16 point, five-rebound effort in a 70-62 win over the 24th-ranked Wolfpack. Three days later Forte hit on six of eight from three-point range and scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed four rebounds in a 87-64 victory over the Demon Deacons.
