CLEMSON BASKETBALL

No Change in Polls for the Tigers

by -

Clemson remained 9th in the USA Today poll and 10th in the AP poll this week. This is the first time in history Clemson has been ranked in the top 25 going into a week, did not win a game during the ensuing week, and remained the same in the poll. Clemson’s only game last week was the 78-68 loss to now number-one ranked Wake Forest, but the Tigers did not drop in either poll.

The last time Clemson stayed the same or had a higher rank in a week in which it lost a game was the 1989-90 season when Clemson defeated fifth ranked Duke on Wednesday and lost to Georgia Tech on Sunday. Clemson went from 20th to 17th in the AP poll that week.
