James Mays Ineligible For Rest of Basketball Season

CLEMSON -- Dan Scott is reporting that Clemson sophomore forward James Mays has been ruled academically ineligible for rest of the season. Clemson sports information director Tim Bourret confirmed the story shortly after 6 PM from Athens, GA where the Tigers are preparing to take on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Mays is Clemson's leading rebounder (7.6/game) and shot blocker (1.9/game). He is the fourth leader scorer with 9.6 points per game.
