? Cliff Hammonds became the fifth player in ACC his¬tory to record at least 1300 points, 400 rebounds, 400 assists and 200 steals in a career when he had 16 points in Clemson's win at Virginia. When Hammonds starts at North Carolina on Sunday he will tie Greg Buckner's school record for most games started with 122. He has started 118 in a row dating to his freshman year.

? Hammonds is seventh in the nation in assist/turnover ra¬tio and is on a Clemson record pace with a 3.06 mark.

? The win at Virginia gave Clemson a 5-3 record for the first half of the ACC season. It is the first time since 1996-97 and just the second time in the 17-years of the 16-game schedule, that Clemson has had a winning record at the midpoint.

? Clemson has won consecutive ACC games by at least 20 points, the first time Clemson has done that since 1998-99 and just the fifth time in school history.

? Clemson is coming off a 82-51 win at Virginia. The 31-point margin is the best in school history for a road game.

? David Potter had a career high tying 11 points in the win over Boston College. He followed that with 10 points in the win at Virginia. It is the first time in his career that he has had back to back double figure scoring games.

? Clemson's defense has held Boston College and Virginia to a combined 107 points over the last two games.

? Clemson is 14-1 this year when leading at the half. The only loss took place in the first meeting between Clemson and Carolina on Jan. 6.

? Clemson made 16 three-point goals at Virginia, most in Clemson history in an ACC game and tied for the most in any game. Clemson now leads the in three-point percentage at .393.

? K.C. Rivers and Cliff Hammonds both have more steals than fouls and more steals than turnovers this year.
