QUICK FACTS

• Clemson has three games left and all are against teams the Tigers will play for the first time this season. After Saturday’s game, the Tigers face Duke on March 2 before returning home for Senior Day against Virginia Tech on March 5.

• Clemson’s last three wins in the series against Wake Forest have all come in overtime, most recently 80-75 during the 2007-08 season.

• With Sunday’s win over Miami (FL), Head Coach Brad Brownell earned his 18th victory in his first season at Clemson. He ranks in a tie with Bill Foster for second among first-year Tiger coaches in overall victories. Larry Shyatt holds the record (20).

• A victory on Saturday would guarantee Clemson at least a .500 record in the ACC for a fourth consecutive season, which would be a first in school history.

• Clemson leads the ACC in scoring defense, allowing 60.4 points per game. Clemson has a chance to become the first ACC team since 1996-97 (NC State) to hold opponents to 60 points per game or less. The Tigers rank 18th in the nation in scoring defense.

• Andre Young has made at least one three-point goal in 28 straight games, including all 27 this year. He has the longest active streak of any ACC player.

• Young is coming off an outstanding 18-point performance in Clemson’s win at Miami, which included a go-ahead three-pointer in the final two and a half minutes. He also made all four of his free throws in the final minute. Young is now 13-of-14 in ACC games from the free throw line, 93 percent.

• Demontez Stitt has scored at least 16 points in each of Clemson’s last five games, including 17 in the win last Sunday at Miami. He made a career-high 11 free throws to help lead the Tigers to victory in that contest.

• Stitt is in the top 10 of the following ACC statistical categories for conference games only: fourth in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.3), seventh in assists per game (3.8), eighth in scoring (15.5), ninth in free throw percentage (.770) and ninth in steals per game (1.4).

• Tanner Smith set a career-high with eight assists in the win at Miami. What is even more impressive is that the junior guard did it with zero turnovers in 34 minutes of action.
