56 ACC Players on Opening Day NBA Rosters

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Fifty-six players from Atlantic Coast Conference

schools were listed on the NBA's 2000-01 opening day rosters released

Tuesday. North Carolina led all ACC schools with 13 players, while

Georgia Tech and Duke were tied for second with nine players each.

Clemson was fourth with six players, followed by Maryland (5), Florida

State and Virginia with four each. NC State and Wake Forest each had

three players on NBA rosters. In addition, the ACC is the only

conference to have at least one player on each of the 29 NBA team

rosters. The following list includes players on the NBA's active

rosters and injured reserve lists.
