GREENSBORO -- NC State’s Joe Gaetti earns this week’s Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Player of the Week honors, while Florida State’s Daniel Hodges and Clemson’s Tyler Lumsden garner ACC Co-Pitcher of the Week distinction.

Gaetti batted .476 (10-21) with two doubles, four homers, seven RBI and six stolen bases in as many attempts in NC State’s five wins last week. The outfielder’s on-base percentage for the week was .542 and his slugging percentage was 1.143. The junior out of Raleigh, N.C., has seven home runs, 23 RBI and eight stolen bases, leading the team in each of those statistical categories.

Hodges earned two saves against No. 15 Florida and pitched a scoreless ninth inning in both games, leading the Seminoles to 5-4 and 9-7 wins. The lefty worked a total of 4.0 scoreless innings over four appearances last week, allowing just two hits, striking out four batters without walking a single batter. Opponents hit only .154 against the 6-foot senior. The Hilliard, Fla., product’s second save last week moved him into sixth in ACC history with 24 career saves and currently ranks 11th all-time in the ACC with 102 appearances, only one appearance away from tying for tenth.

When Lumsden shut out Old Dominion last week, he became the first Tiger to earn a shut out since 2001. The sophomore left-hander did not allow a Monarch to reach third base in 9.09 innings, extending that streak to 16.1 consecutive. The native of Roanoke, Va., lowered his season ERA to 0.40 and has allowed just 16 hits and three walks while striking out 21 in 22.1 innings of work.
