Clemson, SC - Clemson will hold its first Alumni Baseball Weekend starting Friday. Over 150 former Clemson baseball players will be on hand for the reunion, including current Major Leaguers and former Tigers and coaches from eight different decades. About half of the alumni will participate in the alumni game, which begins at 6:00 PM Friday.

The schedule of events for the weekend includes a golf tournament (for the baseball alumni only) at Boscobel Country Club on October 24 at 9:00 AM. From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, there will be batting practice for former players participating in the alumni game. At 5:15 PM, the former Tigers will be introduced to the fans. Then at 6:00 PM, the alumni game will take place at Doug Kingsmore Stadium followed by an autograph session. The alumni game festivities are open and free to the public.

Saturday, prior to the football game, there will be a tailgate picnic (for baseball alumni only) with Head Coach Jack Leggett and former Coaches Bill Wilhelm and Walter Cox. Below is a list of alumni scheduled to be on hand.
