Paul Harrelson Signs Free Agent Contract With the Rockies

Paul Harrelson (Pauline, SC) signed a free agent contract with the Colorado Rockies last week. He has already reported to the Rockies' Rookie League team in Casper, WY. Harrelson, a four-year letterman from 2000-03 and member of two College World Series teams, had 14 career saves, tied for fourth-most in Clemson history. His 78 career appearances and 75 career relief appearances also rank fourth in Tiger history. In 109.1 career innings pitched, Harrelson had a 10-4 record and 3.70 ERA. In 2003, he allowed just three walks while striking out 29 batters.
