Hogan Wins Golden Spikes Player of Week Award

Senior catcher Doug Hogan was named Eye on the Golden Spikes National Player-of-the-Week by USABaseball.com, announced Monday. Hogan played a large part in the Tigers' 4-1 record last week.

The righthanded Hogan hit two home runs in back-to-back games against #21 Coastal Carolina and Furman. Hogan's home runs, which came in two Clemson victories, included two two-run home runs, a three-run home run and a grand slam. For the week, seven of Hogan?s eight hits were extra-base hits. He led the team with 24 total bases and six runs scored on the week as well.
