Poll Notes: Four teams which have started strong include Miami, Fla. (4-0), Arizona (3-0), Long Beach St. (5-1, two wins over Arizona St.), Florida St. (6-0) and Oklahoma St. (3-0). Rice (1-0) started the season with a bang in a 5-2 win over Central Missouri St. as pitchers Joe Savery, Josh Geer and Bryce Cox combined for a school record 21 strikeouts.
