Ryan Riley, playing in his first career game as a Tiger, started the Tigers off in the fifth inning when he laced a double to the left field fence. Riley was brought home by Khalil Greene's RBI single. The Tigers continued to score as Greene crossed the plate thanks to Brian Ellis' two run single.
