Baseball to Play Nebraska Friday Night

CLEMSON, SC - Clemson, the number two national seed, will play the

second game of the the 2002 College World Series against Nebraska on

Friday night, June 14, at 7:00 PM EDT. The game will be televised by

espn2. The winner will face the winner of the South Carolina-Georgia

Tech contest at 5:30 PM EDT on Sunday while the two losers will

square off in an elimination game at 1:00 PM EDT on Sunday.

Clemson (52-15) has been designated as the home team and will leave

for Omaha on Tuesday morning to begin preparations for Nebraska

(47-19). The Tigers will practice from noon to 2:30 PM CDT on

Wednesday at Creighton University and from 11:00 AM to noon CDT on

Thursday at Rosenblatt Stadium.
