A SuperPrep All-American running back, he is ranked 16th in the nation at that position...a top flight running back and punter as a senior, he also returned kicks...rushed for 960 yards and a 7.6 average, he also had a 43-yard average as a punter in 1995 and 80 percent of his kickoffs were not returned....rushed for 1400 yards as a junior and had 18 rushes of 50 yards or more,..scored 24 touchdowns in his junior and senior year combined...had longest kickoff return in school history with a 98-yarder and also is the school's career punting average leader..,had 200 yards in receptions as a junior....also an All-Southeastern Region pick by BlueChip Illustrated...Duluth HS athlete of the year...North-South Football game in Georgia...first-team all-state and three-time allcountry...ranked as the 23rd best player in the Dixie region, regardless of position by SuperPrep...also the 23rd best running back in the Southeast by National Recruiting Advisor...one of the top eight fullbacks in the South by the Plyler Report...fourth in the state track meet in the discus...played for Mike Strickland at Duluth High in Duluth, GA.
