Clemson offered on 4/2/14. He plays at the same high school in Virginia as Tajh Boyd. He is a very smart kid with a 4.20 GPA. He visited Clemson for the 35-17 win over the Gamecocks and also attended the 2014 Dabo Swinney football camp in June. As a junior, he was named First Team All State. First-Team All-Conference Defensive Back & Punt Return, First-Team All-Region Defensive Back & Punt Return and First-Team All-State Athlete.
