Named All-American by PrepStar...rated the #14 offensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com...listed as the #13 player in the state of North Carolina by SuperPrep...ranked the #5 player in North Carolina by Rivals.com...rated the #13 offensive tackle in the nation by CollegeFootballNews.com...followed the footsteps of his father Gary Walker who was a member of Clemson's 1981 National Championship team...four star recruit out of East Wilkes High School...named the County Defensive Player of the Year by the Wilkes Journal-Patriot in Wilkes County, North Carolina for 2006... recorded 130 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, one recovered fumble and 10 pass deflections on defense in 2006...graded at 85 percent for the 2006 season on the offensive side of the ball...participated in the Shrine Bowl in 2006...graduated in December and enrolled in classes at Clemson for the spring semester...also participating in spring practice with fellow newcomers Willy Korn, Brian Linthicum, DeAndre McDaniel, and Xavier Dye...2006 All-State and All-Northwest team selections in North Carolina...selected twice for Northwest Single A, All-Conference Team on offense and defense...three-time All-County team selection...recruited by tight ends coach Billy Napier...chose Clemson over East Carolina, Wake Forest, Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina and N.C.
