Football and basketball standout at Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, TN...named MVP of the football team coached by Graham Clark...started on offense and defense...top receiver with 48 catches for 915 yards and 14 touchdowns, he had four interceptions on defense...helped his team to the Big East Conference Championship and a 12-1 record in 2006...team advanced to the state quarterfinals at the 5A level...second consecutive 12-1 season for the Indians...had perhaps his best game of the year in a 14-0 win over Science Hill of Johnson City when he had 6-148 receiving and two touchdowns and an interception on defense...consensus All-State at the 5A level in Tennessee this year, including selection to the team chosen by the Tennessee Sportswriters Association...also a standout in basketball, he is currently in his second year as a starting guard for the basketball team...averaged a team best 17.3 points per game as a junior when he helped Dobyns-Bennett to a 25-11 record...a first-team All-NET selection as a junior...averaged 26.0 points per game in the postseason as a junior...played AAU basketball in the summer of 2006, he was a teammate of Clemson men's basketball signee Terrence Oglesby, who is from Cleveland, TN.

Plyler on Sensabaugh : "When C.J. Gaddis went pro and Byron Maxwell suffered another ACL injury this spot came open. The staff was not sure if they were going to offer him but once they got him on campus there was little doubt. He really impressed the defensive coaches. One defensive coach told me this kid just has something about him."
