Rated the #14 offensive lineman in Texas and 33rd best offensive guard in the country according to Rivals.com… first team All-District, All-Area and third team All-State his senior season… first team All-District his junior season… led team to district championship in 2001 and 2002… three-year starter… played for Coach Joe Martin… chose Clemson over TCU, Baylor, SMU and Kansas.

More on LaTray: Clint LaTray impressed Clemson’s coaching staff at Clemson’s football camp last summer. He was named first team all-district as a junior. He expects to redshirt at Clemson next season. Recruited by Ron West.

Quoting LaTray: “I started playing in the fifth grade. In middle school I was a tight end and line backer. My freshman year I was a defensive lineman and an offensive lineman. Really, I just thought Clemson is a great school sports wise and academic wise.”
