as well. He's a first baseman/pitcher who, according to his dad, throws "90 when he's mad". At the rate things are going, coach Leggett might need him.

Didn't I see a news article that reported on a game he pitched where he had 23 K's? It was an incredible game and I wondered if he would consider both.

he was a very highly regarded HS baseball player. At 6'7", he'd be a pretty imposing presence on the mound. I also wouldn't want to try to pitch to him, although he would have a pretty large strike zone.

and while a senior in HS, he pitched a complete game, 1 hit shutout in 10 innings while striking out 21. If he could repeat something even CLOSE to that even 1 time, I'd LOVE to see him on the baseball field.

Buchholz & Davis

Has Buchholz missed a FG yet this preseason? I haven't seen him connecting on any long FGs, but I'll take someone who is money from 45in all day long.

Also, may just be a bruise, but I don't like hearing that Davis has a hurt shoulder. Is it the same one as last year?

completely agree about Buchholz. Don't really care if you miss the long ones if Clemson can count on him to make almost all the short ones.

Lets just hope Davis gets enough rest before FSU as he doesn't really need the practice anyway.
