Good kid. Smart analyst. But deciphering competitor tendencies and emotionally leading a physical Defense are two different skill sets. BV is a tough guy and a tough guy to replace. Has Wes ever played the game of football?

Good QB, can run the ball, and good WRs. We are very thin at DB and our DL hasn't been able to get much pressure without blitzing (which is crazy.)

I don't blame Wes for our woes this year to be honest. He's done a good job. Defense plays well all things considered. Offense loves to go 3 and out and turnover the ball deep in our territory, so you can't blame the D for not bailing them out every time.

I don't think Wes has been able to blitz as much as he would want to because of the problems in the secondary. He just doesn't have the dudes to constantly put people on an island in order to have an extra rusher to get pressure on the QB.

Also, we supposedly have the best DL in history, yet they can't seem to get pressure by themselves.

As usual, our offense is clearly the biggest culprit in our poor performances, even the ones we ended up winning.
