I wonder how much of the problems with Comcast (considering its relationship to NBC) have to do with Notre Dame and them not wanting to take away from the viewership of those games? Just one more reason why Notre Dame should have never been admitted without football.... I also find it difficult to hear anyone speak of selling out to Disney/ ESecPN for half the century for half the money that the B1G and SEC get in a positive light. That is the major reason why I think that we should jump the ACC ship if / when the opportunity rises.

I think that with all that has happen with the SEC raiding the Big 12 of it's best two teams, I don't believe they will stop there. I think that with the NIL, the SEC plans are to build a supper conference, and for them to do that, they will have to raid every conference of 2 or 3 of their best teams in order to have a supper conference of the best FB schools in all of college FB.
I just hope that Clemson will feel that with the growth of everything around Clemson the last 6 or 7 years of elite FB, they will see how growth behind a successful FB program is what's best for Clemson, and if invited by the SEC, hopefully Clemson will accept their invitation, Clemson may not get a second offer to be in a supper conference, if that is where the SEC is headed....

The Comcast deal has nothing to do with ND. It has to do

with the length and expiration date of their contract with ESPN/Disney. The other providers that moved over had agreements that expired around the time or shortly after the ACC Network was launched. Comcast had years left on their current deal. Instead of accepting the terms offered and I'm sure similar to other providers, they elected to continue their march toward the expiration of the current contract. Now they are going to have to pay the piper and include ACCN, otherwise, the Comcast subscribers are going to see a blackout of ESPN and other Disney channels in the near future.

Never saw what he did at Northwestern that would make him a good candidate for the ACC Commissioner.
It seems to me as if he has a real focus problem and whether he respects the ACC and out traditions, including gathering at the Paw.
His lack of progress with Comcast is a B I G warning sign. I just am not comfortable with him, nor do I see any reason that he should hold his current position. Seems like he has made the fatal mistake of over promising and under delivering. We need to get rid of him and start over.

So there has been discussion about rules concerning fans running on to the field and fines. Hmmm. Kiss the "Gather at the Paw" goodbye for good. Knew it would only be a matter of time.

Yeah. New commissioner is the "ideal" time to deal with this. I hope it is left as it is. Wish there was a good way to "weed out" fans that are unruly, angry and chase down refs, opposing players, or even our own fans chasing our players/coaches to complain.

Blah blah blah, the ACC sucks in football. There are too many teams who don't care. This guy has a tough job. Let's be honest, Clemson, UNC(maybe), NC State, VA tech, FSU , Pittsburgh (maybe), GA Tech (maybe), Louisville who care about football. Miami could be 10-0 and maybe 20,000 would show up. It hurts Clemson because they don't have any great home games anymore unless it's out of conference. It's just the truth.
