Amari Rodgers gives back with football camp in Upstate

The Clemson Athletics website describes former wide receiver Amari Rodgers as the “consummate professional,” a trait that was evident during his four-year career. The only thing that made me cringe in the story is the "me and Trevor can shake up the league, for sure" comment. It sounds ominously like Johnny Manziel's infamous "I'm gonna wreck this league" comment he made at draft time. We all know how that turned out. Better to be humble and let play on the field determine your status.

I didn't take it the same way as the Manziel comment. To me, it was just an encouragement for the Jags to pick him.

Do the jags have the first pick....

In the second round? If they got Amari, I can’t imagine a better second pick!! He is already like a 3 to 5 year veteran of the league in physique, maturity and route running skills. I think his hands are that level too. The only thing he doesn’t have is height.

Very proud of Amari's representation as a Tiger.
