I think your question is the right one to determine where he should play in the future...... that plus "How well does he run routes?".
If he's slow and not terrific on the route tree, he will have a better chance of success as a TE, but if he's fast and can break ankles on DBs and is smart enough to find holes in a zone D, he can make it as a WR.
I suspect since he's rated a 4*, he has the speed and moves to make it as a WR, but I haven't seen any film on him to judge his ability.
If we can still use a Jordan Leggett type of TE/3-back, he might fit that role, but it sounds like he hates to block even more than Leggett. No matter which position he plays, if he plays at Clemson, he'd better learn to like to block and become fairly proficient at it or he won't see the field very much.
