Two major things that I took from this article:

1) Random mixes of rain, snow, and miserably cold temperatures split up by 75 degree sunny days is baseball weather. Those who have been around lots of baseball know that the only thing you can count on with baseball weather is not having any idea what the weather will look like tomorrow. I remember one year I got sunburn on a nice warm day on opening day of Clemson baseball and then next day it snowed while we were tailgating before the game. It all comes with February in South Carolina.

2) I hope Monte's explanation of the pitching situation that he is dealing with gives a little insight on everything that goes into making pitching and lineup decisions in baseball. It's a complicated process to figure out when matchups work and who is a starter vs reliever and that sort of thing. Many think it's as easy as putting your best guy out there first and second best guy next, but because of recovery times and opposing matchups there is a great deal of planning ahead required.
