Unfinished Business: Mark Fields looking to put it all together in 2018

Senior cornerback Mark Fields had a huge decision to make after Clemson’s 24-6 loss to Alabama in the All-State Sugar Bowl last year. One option was to forego his senior season and pursue the dream of playing in the NFL, or he could return to the Tigers and finish his senior season. Full Story »

I'm so glad he's healthy now. May it stay that way all season. I hope the plan is to mix in the 2nd team liberally at the easier competitive games to give them experience. Ideally we take the best players into the latter part of the season. USuC, ACC Championship and playoffs. Yeah, we'll be there!

Fields-Mullen-Terrell is an outstanding trio of corners and would be getting more attention if not for the absurd collection of talent on this team.

Kind of the forgotten corner with the big names that seem to be mentioned more beinging Terrel and Mullen. But you can’t coach speed and he has it in spades, he has the potential to have a hellova year!

So much talent everywhere with this squad.

Fields will play an important role and will keep improving his game against talented Clemson WR's in practice. Fields has speed and showed much improvement in 2017/18 with far less holds.

Yep! +1, and can’t think of a better person who deserves it. Busted his tail. So glad he came back!
