When a team is loaded the way we are, it is hard to bring in new guys that want to play now. And there really isn't a lot of positions at Clemson where a kid can come in now and take a starting spot away. It has gotten to where kids don't or won't understand that a RS year is the best thing they can do for their FB career long term bc the NFL will mostly give those younger kids one look, and they better be where the NFL coaches and owners expect them to be when they get that look.

Met young Mr. Smith at Savannah QB Club after his 9th or 10th grade season before he transferred to IMG. Congratulated him on recognition received and wished him well. He was a well-mannered and gracious young man. Looks like he has continued to seriously approach football and put in the work to improve his game. It would be a Power Rangers Part II to see him line up with his IMG partner XT and KJ in years to come. No doubt BV would find a place for all of them. Go Tigers!
