He hasn't been mentioned in any of our comments on this recruiting class, but I'm thinking and hoping that Potter is going to be one of the most important gets that we pulled into this recruiting class. He should keep the ball out of the hands of the guys that are special on kick off returns. And he is a guy that has a high percentage of kicking the ball out of the end zone. Field goals are a lot of times game winners. Senior season, he kicked 117 TB from 126 KO, and he is pretty consistent FG kicker at 45 yards. With better every at the college level especially at Clemson, he should get better quick. It wouldn't surprise me seeing 48-50 yd FGs made in games at a high 70% percentage. Before it's all said and done with BT, he could become one of the best kickers we have had, and we have had some really good ones in out past with, Treadwell, Igwebuike, Gardocki, Welch, and Catman turn out to be an awesome kicker for us after a shaky start of his Clemson career. And BT Potter has a very good chance of joining those guys on the list of Clemson's all time best kickers!!!

Congratulations Alex on the outstanding GPA!
Also, it did not go unnoticed all the hard work put in at practice. You had a STRONG finish and truly excelled.

When he first had to step up during the season, we all watched him struggle. We saw him gain confidence with coaching and experience. He then caps off the season going 2-2 on field-goal attempts with makes of 44 and 42 in NOLA and is named team special teams player-of-the-game.
Only Tiger to score that night.
Well deserved!
