at a CU baseball game right before Jaron decided to come back and he said
after playing in the NBA combine (I guess) he realized that Shelton was and
I quote "An Elite PG" and he wanted to play a season with him. I agree about Shelton
and this team really enjoys being around each other. The way they are always having fun
it makes it special. Last year I remember watching the starting line up being announced
before each game and 2 guys would go 1 way and 1 would go another way they did not
like each other it was pretty evident. This team has a strong chemistry and when they get
into hard times their trust in each other will be huge.

If clemson can out rebound the wolfpack, they should have no problem winning at tobacco road. The only real advantage they have over us is the size. Also if we want to stay competitive in the battle of the boards Eli and Grantham have to stay out of foul trouble. Fingers Crossed for Thursday’s game. I hope the Tigers show up big time!

The only team I could think of was the 89-90 squad

Two interesting things that I did not know before:
1) we went undefeated in basketball once! 1911
2) Press Maravich was our coach for six years (father of Pistol Pete iirc)

Yes . We were 25-6 in 1986-87 and started out 22-2 ...

... and we were 15-0 before we lost a game.

We began the ACC 4-0, before losing to Duke.

We ended up 10-4 in the ACC.

Our 4 regular season losses were home and away to Duke and UNC.

We lost ACC Tournament opening round to Wake Forest

Horace Grant was ACC Player of the Year.

We were a #4 seed in the NCAA and lost a hearbreaker in the opening round to SW Missouri State.
