This is one of my favorite Dabo-isms. It seems like a simple phrase, but it carries great meaning in that it represents focus, intensity, teamwork, preparation, and so many other things that make this team a contender every year. We’ve even adopted this mantra at work...and we are not based in South Carolina!

Love Dabo, but that reminded me of Danny Ford for some reason. Berkeley County IPTAY meetings in late summer and he would practically swear we'd be fortunate to win 7 games. He seemed to like to break us down and build us back up.??

I'm sure there is a little of that in the sense that he knows the players are listening and there is definitely a message in there for them but I don't think he actually manufactures it.
Last year, I kept waiting for the inevitable worst-practice-ever interview in the middle of bowl prep and it never came. There is always a plan but there are enough natural ebbs and flows to give them a pat and a kick in the backside, both.
