As he turns the corner at the line of scrimmage and turns upfield he seems to cover more ground than his legs will allow. It looks freakish.
Future looks bright.

It's visible when he takes the corner. He's almost in a full stride during his turn. This is a great "attack-mode" mentality as he has no expectation of being stopped. Awesome.

A true freshman with a set of speed wheels like that now, the kid is going be dangerously special in our running game very soon, and let him be legendary.

He has absolutely absurd acceleration. He looks like he's exploding forward on every stride. Kid is special.

You know another reason why this is great?
Because the kid "took advantage of his opportunity". He could have half-assed it because the game was over and/or had a bad attitude because "I'm not 1st team". Instead he did neither and made it clear to all what a special talent he his.

Tell ya how fast he is , the third guy that missed him broke his stride and he still out ran a DB trailing whose stride was not interrupted .
That is what they call " game speed " , my friends.

I love Herbstreit's call on this with the "oh boy." Reminds me of the under his breath "oh" when he called the last touchdown in the Ohio State game. Nice to see the emotional, unprepared response when something really neat happens on the field.
