I was struck by Venables description of the offense challenge Auburn brings. It sounded near identical to what our Tigers bring to the game. Our D has been practicing against a top line O for months. Sure, there'll be wrinkles, but it's gotta help to scrimmage against the best.

My guess is our depth will be the telling difference between this Tiger team and previous teams. We now have a 2 deep, at least, of super players on both sides of the lines of scrimmage, and our skill guys are second to none. This will be a war, but we win it due a lot to attrition. This should be a great game to see .

With Auburn playing their 2nd game of the season in front of a hostile Clemson crowd in Death Valley, that makes it pretty tough for any new starting QB. Add one very talented high octane Clemson offense, then add a violet Venables Defense, mix the first two ingredients in with a hostile Clemson crowd for 61 minutes. That is a great recipe for a Clemson win, and We win this one by 10 plus points in Death Valley.
