I was so amazed by the total eclipse that I forgot to turn up the shutter speed fast enough to just get them and so the corona washed them out.

Well, maybe next time, in a 100 years.

Incredible photos my friend. Are you a professional or do you do it as a hobby?

Just a hobby. First time for an eclipse (and maybe last)

Don't have any expensive equipment. Just Canon Rebel on a tripod with a cheap telephoto (300mm) and some solar film.

Things got cloudy and I had to pick up and move to get the total eclipse and got so excited as the total eclipse started that I didn't use the correct shutter speed to get the tight ring, but at least I got some other good shots.

Thanks.

but I'm glad they were there for the pictures.

They looked a little darker with my binoculars.
