A petition is being circulated in the Clemson area asking the powers that be to reschedule the eclipse if there is cloud cover in the Clemson area on Monday, Aug.21. The petition also asks for your preferred date if a reschedule is granted. I would urge you not to have it rescheduled on a date where it create a conflict with a college football game. There may be some who would prefer it be rescheduled for some night. If you prefer it be rescheduled for a night, please recommend it occurring during the early hours of the night. Some of us older people may have an early bed time. Thank you for your cooperation.
