Anybody traveling to the Eclipse?

If you don't already live in the path of it?

Thought about it but probably not.

Don't have the means to get there and would probably fry me. I'll just stay in northern va.

Going to the roof deck. IOP. Expecting chaos on the beach.

Driving out to the middle of my hay field in my pick up truck; lay down on a matress in the truck bed with my for life wife; put on my shade 13 welders helmet and watch the eclipse while I write a country song. Will name the song " Ode to the dark side of the cow pasture patty" in honor of a former member of the TAPS staff.

If you are traveling let me tell you in advance that the traffic will be 'horrendous'! It's already begun so be safe

Laying in the back of a truck when it's 102° out sounds fun***

About eye damage and phone camera damage are overblown. I saw a YouTube video from the 2006 eclipse in Turkey and people had their phones all pointed at it

Phones and TV should filter anything out

That said, taking a picture of the eclipse, unless your phone is blocking it, is probably is dangerous

Is this an effort to evoke something facetious about how the University of Slim Chance is always eclipsed by CU? Cuz I guess that means we all sorta live in the reality of that perpetual eclipse...
