Glad he is pleased, but I think we are still too stubborn in trying to run.

Running, at least with our RBs, wastes at least 25% of our plays each game. Yes, we have some success, but for the most part those plays are a wasted down. I get that we need to keep the defense honest, but there are many times when the pass is there and we would have a much better chance of getting meaningful yards than with a run.

I am very concerned that our coaches' desire to run against top run defenses will hurt us as we progress into the playoffs. We won't be successful running Gallman and Fuller up the middle against Alabama. The only way to beat a team like that will be to throw throw throw, and mix in some play action with Deshaun rollouts where he can either run or pass.

This seems painfully obvious to me, but then again, I'm not a college football coach and they are.
