I don't think Alabama will jump us

Nov 9, 2015, 8:30 AM

I'm sure many think they will because of the SEC bias. But I think Clemson is in the playoff only if undefeated. If we lose one game, we're out of the top 4 because I still don't think we are respected. But if we win out (which I think we will), I don't think the committee will move a 1-loss Alabama above us.

IDK if these numbers mean anything but our remaining SOS

doesn't help us. All of our regular season opponents left have a 3-6 record. Bama's are;

@ Miss St. ( 7-2 )
Charleston Southern (7-1 )
@ Auburn (5-4 )

These could be why they think Bama might pass us.

That Charleston Southern is a powerhouse !***

Would it not make more sense for CU/Bama to be played

Clemson Football, the glory days are here!

Logistically, yes. It will be interesting if the committee takes this into consideration, when they announce the final rankings. 1 and 4 go to Miami, 2 and 3 to Dallas.

The actual rules state that the games would be chosen with the higher seeds in mind when choosing sites. Texas is a litle closer to OSU than Miami. Not to mention the distance and logistics for the others involved in his scenario. Orange does not choose first in my understanding

I-20 vs. I-95 - paint Tiger Paws on both ;)

At least they didn't project us to the Chick Fil A Bowl.***

He's out of his mind if he thinks ESPiN's POC will...

seed Bama anywhere but #1 and send them to the Orange Bowl. There's no way they pit them against a top 5 defensive squad in the first post season game either.
