Smith decommitted because he wanted to take other official visits without insulting the staff; however I would be surprised if he didn't sign a NLI with us.

If any of the recruits should read this...I just want them to know how welcome they are here at Clemson...We want them and we know that we have some great coaches offense and defense. Keep your "EYE ON THE TIGER" recruits. Soak it all in...watch the run down The Hill and have fun. We are ALL IN and we believe in our team. They Believe and they Execute. Very IMPRESSIVE group coming in this weekend. Would be fantastic to have a banner commitment after the game from Alot of them, particularly Mr. Smith. Got to put on the game faces and beat FSU ! GO TIGERS !!!

FYI. Just announced on Wral in Raleigh that Pinecrest (Pollard's team) used an ineligible guy, 8 qtr rule, and are having to forfeit 8 games. Kicked out of playoffs. Imho, he should enroll early.
