defenses like that in the ACC" that bother me. If anything, the ACC is the ONLY conference that plays defense anymore. Maybe the B1G. But look at in conference and OOC games. There might be 2 SEC games, in conference, that the point total has stayed under 50 pts. Now look at their OOC games and look at how much they give up. And do we want to bring up the bowl games? Sorry for the rant but geez, this the kind of thinking that leaves a 1 loss Clemson or FSU team out of the playoffs and it's simply not true.

Agreed. Last I checked the ACC/ Big match up last week was 3-2 ACC. And they hardly played the heavyweights. Outside of Middle, Duke and maybe VT, the Big got our lower tier. They are Top heavy as with ACC but our middle and lower are definitely better. The Pac 27 or whatever they are now, and the Big 12? I don't see much D. there.
