Perhaps, but it sounded like Wilkie has been talking to LeCroy for a while.

Wilkie has been recruited by current assistant Bradley Lecroy. "I've been talking to Coach Lecroy because he wanted me to play with them a while ago and they offered me and I felt it was the right decision."
