Does Maxwell acknowledge playing for Clemson? Whenever I hear him introduce himself, he spouts off some incoherent crap that doesn't sound like he says he played for us. If he doesn't acknowledge us, then I don't give a crap about him. Plus, some of that smart ### Seattle defense B S may have corrupted his mind--maybe he has been hanging around that idiot Richard Sherman too much???

his senior year. clemson honored his scholarship and he spent his freshman year rehabbing/red shirt.

why would byron maxwell have anything save appreciation for clemson?

i've seen other professional players introductions mention their high school or other. it's "their" thang; not sure it's a big deal unless you want to make it so.

Anyone that calls Richard Sherman an 'idiot' probably is one because Sherman is not an idiot.
Maxwell is identified as playing at Clemson in every game I have seen where he was introduced and I assume will be at the Super Bowl! How many players have we had start in a Super Bowl? I will pull for Seahawks because of Maxwell.

It means a lot more to the hometown community and coaches who first believed in him
