and I'm glad to see Charles G. has an award named for him...college basketball became much less fun after he left Maryland. Sadly, it was a situation of his own making but it doesn't overshadow his devotion to the game. For most of us, Lefty was "the coach you loved to hate" but who earned the respect of everyone.
IMO, it was not unexpected but unfortunate KJ was left off the first & second string All-American team. He shouldered a heavy load all season long and rarely had even a mediocre outing. It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all for him to come back and impart what he's learned to the incoming guys.
