Vince Young

would love to compare him to another former CU great.
But I don't think we've ever had a player like Watson.

SO,for now...reminds me of former Texas QB, Vince Young.

Young looking this good in HS. seems like the staff at GHS really praise Watson's ability to read the D and make calls at the LOS. we'll see..... Young seemed to always wanna take off before goung through his reads. Ge was fun to watch at UT.... Won a lot of games. Very excited to see Watson play in the valley. I believe he will represent Clemson like Boyd has.

The thing that makes me smile is what he does when things break down. Tajh, as good as he was for us, had a tendency to pull the ball down and panic a bit when things started getting too hot in the pocket. We all know Watson is a great runner, but what impressed me more than anything in this video was his ability to move in the pocket with his eyes still downfield. By moving up like this, he can run if he wants to, but it also allows him to keep a target, so as the play breaks down he can still hit any newly open receiver as LBs & DBs crash down on the play.
