I think the 12th man factor of the Death Valley crowd was huge. Great play calling by both coordinators, especially in the 2nd half.

just want to add my 2 cents worth. 25 was the offensive player of the game and 50 was the defensive player of the game. the two running bscks from georgia 3 and 4 are better than alabama's 4. give georgia credit for scheduling clemson and south carolina back to back, not to mention lsu in the fourth week. tough!

UGA scheduled Clemson,

1. To have a creampuff opener

2. Get their fans out for the first game

3. Show that they have no rivals outside their conference

4. Provide ESPiN with ammunition to tout the SEC as peerless

Georgia didn't schedule Clemson to,

1. Lose the biggest game of the week

2. Face an opening opponent that presented a challenge

3. Get their star running back beat up by a tough defense

4. Have their QB's ego crushed

5. Open their coach's final season at UGA

6. Schedule the best team in the country

7. Be the second SEC team to be embarrassed in a non-conference game by Clemson

8. Be a featured Looser on ESPiN's Gameday in Primetime TV with a record breaking audience in front of the loudest and best fans in College Football.

Remember, ESPiN labeled 'losing to a team you should beat,' 'pulling a Clemson,' during the time UGA scheduled this home and home.
