They were running Oklahoma drills. Oklahoma drills are a good way to get folks hurt...alot of guys in a very small area...man on man. Lots of stuff gets mangled and smashed in Oklahoma drills. UGA is preparing for a physical hard hitting game. I home Dabo doesn't go to sleep at the wheel with what he learned against LSU preparation.
I could not help but notice that first day in pads UGA is running Oklahoma drills and Dabo reports we are back to freakin' "thud" tackling! Better get them boys prepared for some smashmouth football, which WILL involve some injuries.

I've had thumb / hand surgery

I'm guess they're going to be in a cast for the game. Four weeks out I'm not sure I could have grabbed and held onto someone with my bad hand. Hand surgery is tricky because of all the small bones, ligaments and tendons. I doubt these guys are 100% when it comes to tackling or getting off blocks with their hands.
