How can Boyd compete with Manziel?

well, based on last year's performance, the only thing he has to overcome is the espn hype of the sec.

As long as the offensive line is staying on blocks, protecting the gaps & covering his backside he will be #1. His grasp of this offense and its weapons should be at the highest level we have ever seen on the field for our TIGERS !!

as he did last year. The whole team needs to do that in order to truly be great. That's what the top programs do. Go Tigers!!!

Watch out. What a huge jump he made to start last season, so much better than the year before. There is a point of diminishing returns as improvement continues, but if he can manage to improve anywhere near as much as he did last year, we are going to be freaking hard to beat.

Doesn't every qb want to be the best in the nation? I feel like its a given for a competitive athlete to want to be the best at their position.

Seriously - if you are an opposing DC - wouldn't you have some major concerns as to how to contain Boyd? This guy has always been good - but his confidence is growing and his attitude is contagious. BUT - we have to get past UGA (and Murray is no slouch).
