Are those uniform numbers? Really hard to tell.

It's a "C" similar to the one currently used on our baseball uniform caps.

I wish for our first game this year against UGA we would wear a throwback like this saying "We are bringing back the hard hitting, mean, and tough defense of the past!" I think that would make a huge statement and I believe the defense will be that again.

Since there is no "A" in CLEMSON or TIGERS, and the end-zone looks to have the letter "A". What's that? IPTAY?

Seems like I remember that when I was a student- way back when the "T" stood for "Ten" and really meant it!

IPTAY

If you look at other old Clemson photos you'll notice they put IPTAY in one end zone quite often - not sure if it was every game, but it wasn't uncommon.

Love the Hill back in the day, the old rug (a classic collegiate look), the goalposts' treatment, and the unis. Would love to see some of our 1960s unis, especially the all-white looks, be used for a throwback sometime.
