Four years ago, young head coach Dabo Swinney didn’t have much to offer recruits, but 12 players took a chance on the 40-year old and signed with Clemson and together they have brought winning football back to Clemson. Full Story »

the years we would have 5 losses but TB would say we were a few plays away fom being undefeated. At 10-2 we've had our chances- glad to see this small group beginning a special run for Clemson football.

a few times every season. If scu wasn't the best they've been in their history, no one would question Dabo's success. I will be curious to see if he gets his team to focus for the bowl game this year. This is a big statement to make moving into next year. We'll start out in possibly top 5 next year if we win. Add in the UGA opener, and we control what people think of us. That game is going to be huge starting out next year...hoping not to pull a GA dome.

yeah, we have had our problems but my last memory..the last Clemson game I attended at the dome was when we played Tennessee. They just knew they were going to come in an beat us up and down the field, they were "too good" to be at that lesser bowl. (that was the year we blew up the fax machine at the peach bowl office). that game turned out pretty good,I haven't been back, but I am going this year. Let's just hope with the same type results. in the case, I hope we pull a Ga Dome... TN style.

1980-83 had 36 wins
1981-84 had 37 wins
1986-89 had 38 wins
1987-90 had 40 wins
1988-91 had 39 wins

Meeks was off on his addition, but Swinney set it straight a couple of paragraphs later.
