IF HE GETS THE JOB, does he coach in the bowl?

Posted: Dec 10, 2012 3:06 PM

...i think Dabo would like for him to, but Chad may want to move on to get started w/ TT in a bowl. also, he may not want the LSU game on his resume.

if he's a coach at TT, then he's not a coach at clemson

I do not know. If he takes the job, will he coach at Clemson next year too? Wow, my 9 year old just answered that question that you could not answer for yourself.
Why don't we wait and see if he gets the job before we start wondering about what-ifs.

Nope, not falling for it this time.

I'm gonna wait till Dabo or Morris say something first.

Same here. I overreacted to the USF update, then I ended up looking stupid.

Agreed. This site is really starting to become unbearable. Between the ######## tweet updates beng reported as "news" and the lounge crew, gamecock fans, and lsu folks spam-trolling the board...

Check TCI. I have been spending a lot of time over there. They take the trash out before the board gets infested. It is quite nice not having to deal with trolls.

Thanks for the tip.

Dabo should call Neal Brown and suggest he hold off on

Posted: Dec 10, 2012 3:13 PM

taking that Kentucky job.

Guessing that Dabo will start keeping his salary for himself***

This has to be affecting our players and our bowl prep.***

Morris is making all the rounds

He really should try to interview in San Diego at some point. A beautiful place.

Hawaii, too.

If he really wants a HC job

now is not the right time for him to be putting Clemson second, I will say it again Dabo & AD should take his keys and give him all the time he needs to look for a new job, I will be the 1st one there to help him pack
Either he is All In or should be All Gone. If he really wants to leave there is time to look after the season is over.
No way can he keeps the respect of players
There is a time for everything and this is just not the best time for Clemson and that's all I care about

Put a turd in his desk drawer...

...he'll get the message.

Let's fire any coach who thinks he will ever get a job

anywhere else. Let's make them live in on-campus housing with a microchip imbedded in their heads for tracking.

lotta morons on here...

we don't want any coaches who would interview anywhere else, or any players who aren't basically Clemson fans. Idiotic.

"Hey Texas Tech AD, this is Chad. I hear you're interested in talking with me, and I likewise. But can you wait for another two weeks or so while I coach the Tigers in Atlanta. Surely, the remaining staff is keeping recruits informed and in the fold, so another two weeks wouldn't be that bad. Thanks, that would be great!"

You're an idiot. Glad you aren't the AD.***

you can't pull that with asst coaches..if you do you are

Posted: Dec 10, 2012 7:39 PM

going to have a really hard time getting anyone of quality who wants to be a HC one day to come to CU.

Do you think Dabo is going to end up pulling his contract for visiting another school?

GOOD! The sooner this ends one way or the other, the better.***

Many on here don't understand the transient nature of college football and basketball coaches. Next to none of them are in love with the school where they are currently employed. They are looking for the next best opportunity. It's the same at Clemson as everywhere else. Get over it.

It is a compliment to a program to have assistant coaches considered for head coaching jobs. I think he is a professional and will not let the interviews become a distraction. Everybody beyond a certain level multi-tasks everyday. All will be fine.

Yup. At least until New Year's Eve.

I hope he ends up staying, but if he gets the offer for 2 mil plus, he can't refuse. move back to your home state (though for you South Carolinians moving to Columbia would hardly count) and take over a program that would be happy with 9 wins and a high-flin' offense. He'd make more than Dabo. It would really set us back.

Discussed much at the blog below. Please look and comment.
