I believe the Clemson Defense will be exponentially better under Venables. Put that together with what Morris is accomplishing, and our future looks very bright. Granted, I am very optimistic, and I know we need some hogs on the OL and DL, but we are building a solid program the right way, IMO, and it should last for a long time.

Somehow Vic is on that list...

Its hard to validate the authors point of "good hires" when you have coordinators on the list that have a track record of bouncing from school to school every couple years without any success.

Are you saying Vic wasnt a good hire?***

Lots of interesting names on that list

Vic Koenning - DC at North Carolina

Kliff Kingsbury (who killed us in the 2002 Tangerine Bowl) - OC at Texas A & M

Tyrone Nix - DC for Rick Stockstill at Middle Tennessee

Bobby Petrino's brother - OC at Arkansas; maybe he's the next best thing.

Chuck Amato - OC at Akron. He's 65, wonder if he still wears the sunglasses.
